# Source Checker (source_support)

Checks whether the listed sources support a claim. Fixed procedure: fetch the sources, extract text, one model step for a verdict with a verbatim quote, then a mechanical check that the quote occurs in the fetched text. A quote that is not in the text turns the verdict into `unverifiable`.

Verdicts: `supported`, `partially_supported`, `contradicted`, `not_supported`, `unverifiable`. A missing statement is `not_supported`, never `contradicted`. Judges the listed sources only, not the claim in general.
